Lily Bogas is a mezzo-soprano from San Francisco who is passionate about sharing human experiences through opera and art song, specializing in contemporary music. A recent graduate of the Eastman School of Music, their 2023/24 season included performances as Anne in “To Hell and Back” by Jake Heggie, and the role of Dido in Purcell’s “Dido and Aeneas.” Last summer, Lily joined the West Edge Opera ensemble in the world premiere of “Bulrusher.” Other credits include Maman in “L'enfant et les sortilèges” with the Miami Music Festival and Mercedes in “Carmen” with Festival Opera. This coming Summer Lily will be a 2025 Studio Artist with Aspen Opera Theater.

In addition to classical singing, Lily enjoys writing and performing music across genres such as folk, r&b, jazz and indie.
